Amway and Eco-Tards

Have so much in common I was kinda surprised. This is my latest theory. Subscribe to either way of thinking and you end up with a ton of shit you probably paid too much for and didn’t really want in the first place. Most likely you were tricked, then tormented by some zealot to get [...]

Green jobs…

Posted by chucklehead on July 11, 2010 at 10:49 am

Stopped by the Rhythm on the River. Seemed like a nice affair. Having to use tokens to buy a coffee seemed a little silly. The one thing I did notice was the zero waste signs everywhere and the trash cans were manned by a silent person pointing to the correct bin to toss your cup. [...]

San Francisco…

A governement controlled society is not a very fun one… via boing boing. Coca-Cola is out, and soy milk is now part of San Francisco’s official city policy.

We believe climate science but not Pasteur… ok, what?

(I just turned sixty-something.) A little concerned about that comment, I couldn’t resist asking him, ‘Do you think I’ll [...]

The drinking age

Posted by chucklehead on May 27, 2010 at 10:51 am

Too bad we can’t just abolish the drinking age. I’m trying to think back at any time did this law work for me personally… Not at all. Never had problems getting booze as a child and it’s pretty clear today’s children are not having an issue finding booze either. What did we gain? Lots of [...]

Less laws… Feel it.

When people used to sit around and rant against W, I would ask them… What exactly in your life has changed that you can actually blame on W? A blank stare would always follow. I ask myself this same question on occasion in regards to the present time. What have I noticed? I can get [...]
